Although making the decision to STOP participating in destructive eating rituals is an achievement in itself…

IF you HAVEN’T changed your mindset then unfortunately, you’re in for quite a MISERABLE time in the process😩


Hence the reason why so many people RELAPSE in their quest to whatever desired goals they may have.

But but....

All the time you’re saying to yourself;

“BUT”… (and that’s the BIGGEST mistake… the “BUT”)

“BUT… I feel TOO WEAK to change”

“BUT…I have NO will-power”

“BUT… I don’t have a CLUE where to start”

“BUT… I CAN’T trust myself”

“BUT… I DON’T think I can change”

“BUT… it’s TOO painful…”

“BUT… the URGES are too STRONG!”

“BUT…BUT…BUT…BUT…BUT……….”

 

Another rule of the mind is…

The mind CANNOT hold conflicting beliefs.

 

So there you are, BELIEVING you:

😇 WANT to do BETTER for your health

🥰 WANT to do BETTER for your kids

😙 WANT to do BETTER for your family

😎 OR WHATEVER you WANT to do BETTER in…

 

… IF you also have the BELIEF that:

❗️ You’re NOT strong enough 

❗️ You DON’T have any willpower 

❗️ You’ve GIVEN UP before you EVEN start

❗️ You have NO HOPE

❗️ You CAN’T change

❗️ You DON’T want to FEEL

❗️ You CAN’T face up to your URGES

Then guess what???!!!

NO matter HOW MUCH you WANT to STOP your destructive eating habits, AS LONG as you keep coming up with the “BUT”s… your BEST intentions are gonna eventually end up with all the other piles of BEST intentions you’ve tried to make in the past, making you…

😔 FEEL like crap

😟 FEEL like a failure

😒 FEEL hopeless

🤬 FEEL frustrated

🤐 FEEL the need to start ANOTHER FAD diet or even WORSE…
CAVE. IN. TO. ANOTHER. BINGE!!!😭😭😭

 

And EVEN…

🤢 Maybe you’ll get UNHEALTHIER

🤢 Maybe you’ll take MORE medication 

🤮 Maybe you’ll get SICKER or hospitalised

💀 OR maybe even DEATH

 

AND then the VICIOUS cycle of self-destruction starts ALL. OVER. AGAIN!!!

 

You see, with the mind, you simply CANNOT give it TWO conflicting beliefs. 

As soon as you give a belief as simple as “I WANT to STOP BINGEING on JUNK food” but then at the same time, you’re FANTASISING over “Pizza”… YOUR brain CANNOT deal with the confusion, so it literally CANCELS each other out!

So, whenever anyone asks me about the BEST tips to a “SATIABLE” eating mentality, aka “Being in TUNE with your body’s TRUE hunger signals”… the VERY first thing I ALWAYS say is:

 

GET CLEAR EXACTLY WHY you WANT to make the change!

 

 

A CARE-FREE attitude to eating may seem like asking for the IMPOSSIBLE at the beginning but just like driving a car, once you are CONSISTENT with the messages you TELL yourself EVERY. SINGLE. WAKING. MOMENT. OF. YOUR. DAY. 

“I HAVE phenomenal COPING skills”

“I ENJOY eating foods that nourish my body”

“I feel SAFE around food”

“I TRUST myself to make the right choices”

“I FORGIVE myself”

“I am ENOUGH”

“I am totally LOVABLE”

“I CHOSE to RESPECT body”

 

ONCE your brain gets CLEAR on what you WANT, you would’ve PRIMED yourself READY for the NEXT STEP to BREAK FREE from your destructive eating rituals.
